DRESS CODE
Langland Bay Golf Club is not an overly formal club, but we do
require the basic standards of dress and playing etiquette.

On the Course
We do accept fashion changes very quickly and our policy is that any smart,
recognised golf clothing and golf shoes with either soft spikes or
dimples should be worn. Tailored shorts (NOT cargo style) may
be worn with any variety of sports socks.

Mens Golf Shirts
Men’s golf shirts must have collars and
sleeves and be tucked into trousers.

Athletic, basketball, football, numbered style
shirts or tracksuits and cargo style shorts.
Golf Shoes
All golfers must wear golf shoes when playing and
also when using the practise area and putting green.
Non golfers must wear appropriate, flat footwear.
In the Clubhouse
Any smart casual clothing is acceptable, but we would
ask that caps be removed when inside the clubhouse.
Smart denim-wear is permitted within the clubhouse and its
immediate vicinity but only if they are clean, and are free of any
fraying, holes, rips or tears. Non playing guests/children may be
excluded from these rules at the discretion of the club manager.
Dirty, muddy or wet clothing is not permitted in the Clubhouse.
In the Clubhouse - calls, texting, emailing, internet and diary etc. are permitted providing the
equipment is on silent. Members, guests and visitors are asked to take calls, as long as care is
given to other people, in the club foyer or outside the main entrance. Members, guests and
visitors are requested to be considerate of others when operating their devices. Members,
guests and visitors must also ensure they follow the ‘Internet and Wifi Policy’.
THE CLUB MANAGER, CLUB ASSISTANT, PROFESSIONAL, COMMITTEE MEMBERS, BAR MANAGEMENT
AND THEIR STAFF HAVE AUTHORITY TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE TO THIS POLICY.

Mobile Phones
All Mobile Phones/PDAs must be on silent at all times and not be used as
a phone on the Course, except in the case of a genuine emergency.
